Couldn’t find the perfect post to let u know abt this, but you MUST try out the vada pav at Trushna in Goregaon, Mumbai.

I remember it just used to be a vada pav thela when i was in school. they make the most delicious vada pavs and they have retained the taste all these years. Now it’s a one storey food joint serving reasonably priced delicious dishes, but the vada pav is still the best dish on their menu. we have shifted from goregaon, but whenever we visit, we make it a point to gorge on some vada pavs from Trushna.

VadaPav is the quintessential snack of a local Mumbai person (Mumbaikar). The cheapest and most easily available snack – all railway stations and every ‘galli‘ or street would have at least a couple of vadapav stalls – it’s imbibed in the food culture of the city.

This is a pilot project to (a) connect foodies who love the vada pav and share their experiences, favourite places to grab this delicacy (or any other favourite snack/food) and (b) share info. on great value meals and cool deals around the city.
